Tenere 700 2023 800 kilometers wired sound

Kaga

Question

My 2023 tenere sometimes has a wired sound from front wheel just like a howl begin at 40 to 80 kph, I think that it is not come from the brake system. Is there somebody could help me about this problem? Thank you

There are a few posts about this, and expect a few widely different suggestions. Mine was solved by replacing the lower chain roller with a bearing-mounted unit. Cheap, and it worked. G'luck.

Thank you for your reply, could you tell me where I can buy that bearing? Do you remember the size of the bearing ? Thank you and wish you have a great weekend.

Check the tyre pressure, it may be wrong. Those great Pirelli Scropion Rally STR tyres can make a whirring type noise at 50 05 60 but it's usually when they've over 8000kms wear.

thank you so much for your suggestion, and I have solved my problems about this wired noise. The front tire s pressure was low and I inflated it to the limit. Now the noise happens not quite often. I appreciate your help!
