...correctly take off. I've undone all necessary screws etc, petrol cap and now too reluctant to go any further until shown.. thanks...

Hi AZJW, thank you for that, but I'm specifically asking for the removal of the black top-cover on the top of the tank; all bolts etc are out, but, being too cautious to pull something too hard and break something...
