Rally Raid Products Toolbox (& Crash-bar Compatibility)

Fitted a toolbox from Rally Raid Products. A nice simple bit of kit that works really well with the bike and should allow me to move some of the weight of my tools lower down on the bike.

The toolbox is really neatly tucked into the side of the bike and basically adds no extra width.

Installation is simple enough, it's just a case of swapping out two bolts, but I found I needed to do a couple of minor modifications to help with the fit:

1. I have Touratech upper crash bars and there is a clearance issue in front of the toolbox which required me to grind back a small amount of material off the mounting plate to open up some clearance.

2. When the toolbox gets tightened down it puts a bit of deflection on the clutch cable it as it leads towards the actuator arm. So I took to the cable bracket with a nylon mallet to bend it further inboard by about 5mm. I noticed on my bike that the cable was exiting the housing at quite a bit of an angle so I think this adjustment actually helps with the alignment.

I am inbetween the Touratech upper crashbars and the adventure-spec ones...could you share a few real pictures of the bike with the Touratech ones?
