The pre-filter in one of your earlier pics, do you use that only with foam/oil filters, or also with the stock paper filter?  How often do you clean the foam/oil filters?  I've found if I check my WR450's filter after letting it sit for a couple of months, the oil on the filter has lost it's tackiness and I end up cleaning a perfectly clean filter just for peace of mind.  I use Maxima filter oil. 

 

Any particular reason for the longer shock bolt? 

The foam Pre-filter is used in conjunction with a foam main filter. It's noted above, but it's a UNI of Australia filter set, not to be confused with UNI filters in North America.  Service intervals are done every 4,000 miles when I do my oil changes.

Changed out lower shock bolt for longer Racetorx replacement.
