I decided on Mosko Moto Hood model for mine. Backordered so not here yet. Small, but not too small. I will review later.

That looks good.

I would like something like that, just with room for a 2L camelbak and some small items, instead of having the weight of a backpack.

I'm using the Enduristan Sandstorm 4H.

Fits well, waterproof, capacity 7 litres, does not get in the way when standing (for me at least), easy to fuel up by releasing two buckles fixed around the steering head and tilting the bag back, has a waterproof opening to route a cable in/out of the main compartment for charging your electronics and a detachable map pocket on top (also with a waterproof cable entry - good for a solar charging power bank in lieu of a paper map).

Another good option.

Put the Mosko Nomad Tank Bag on the Tenere. Fits perfect. Shape is very good for the high fuel tank. Would recommend this.

IMG_2073.jpg.f6a3ab94a1d12b9dfcac29669b02420c.jpgI love the bag, but it just doesn’t look like it sits right? The fuel cap pushes the front up. Such a shame as I wanted the bag. Probably best not to visit the uk with that knife out. You would get arrested. Ride safe

Thanks for the heads up on this, Just ordered my Nomad!

Inspired by the hydration packs we use for backcountry skiing and mountain biking, we set out to design a completely different kind of tank bag. The Nomad comes with a 2L Hydrapak reservoir, and it has tons of pockets for all those little things you used to throw in a tank bag and promptly lose. Best of all, it unclips from the bike quickly...

@Heedcase

I feel really dumb, but I can't seem to get the head tube straps securely attached with my Enduristan 4H. They are way too narrow to keep the cross-strap snug. Do you have any pics/suggestions to share?

I previously had a Tenere 1200 and currently have the Tenere 700 and I have used this Givi Tankbag on both and its faultless.

Using a Nelson Rigg on mine that I previously had on my old KLR. Fits perfectly. Similar design to the Giant Loop but 1/3 the price. Nelson-Rigg CL-1045 Sport Adventure Slim Motorcycle Tank Bag

@Calibre

Please see the photos attached: from above, from the right, from the left.

Not sure how to describe how I managed it but I do recall that I pretty much had to shorten the straps as much as possible.

Hope this helps.

How did you fit the 2 bottom straps under the seat on the tankbag converter?  Bought one today, and i’m struggeling to get enough room between the tank and the tankbag for the straps.

And did you use the velcro?

Tanks in advance🙂

Thanks @Heedcase I got it figured thanks to your pic. It helped that I finally realized I didn't have to loop it around the head tube itself, doh.

I run a tank bag with a map pocket on my motorcycles......not too big and not too small. I am also a “chugal” (cheap and frugal). I have a medium sized magnet mount Rapid Transit bag on my X 300 Versys and found the same bag with suction cups is available. So, for $25.00 on E Bay, I ordered one and it fits perfect on myT7. I am running both bikes with the bags reversed because they fit the tank and gas cap location better. It fits great and won’t scratch the tank like strap mounted bags do.

I love my Hood tank bag. Perfect size, completely waterproof, high-quality and a company that stands behind their products.

Does somebody seen already tank bag used on T700? I´m a huge fan of those. But tank shape looks not very suitable?!

Im using the mosko nomad. I hear there's a new version. Right after I bought it. Such is life 🤣

They usually discount old stock.

The thing with tank bags and this one was no different. Sure they look ugly bulky etc in pictures but out on the road they're fine. At least this one was. Plenty of room and in last night's crazy storm in Zadar it gave me something to lean forward on. Those scary as $%&^ winds.

Only time to give them a miss is if you plan to go full moto up and forward on the footpegs. Which most of us won't.

Feedback on this version

1. Make it waterproof or include a waterproof pocket/sleeve/layer. Who wants to pull over in a storm and fish out the included raincover? Pulling out a moist tollway ticket is not cool.

2. Water bladder sleeve zipper is too narrow.  I hear this is fixed in version 2

Great item very very solid build. The backpack straps feel flimsy but I can live with that. probably a wee bit expensive but I'd recommend it to anyone who's asking. Just buy a bunch of ziplock bags for the stuff you want to keep dry.

Hi there!

I ended up taking 2 of the straps that came with the US bag, and mounted these on the crash bars.  Near the mounting point towards the rear.  Not a perfect solution, but it works ok.

Pretty keen on getting one of the Enduristan Sandstorm Tank Bags, either the 7L 4H, or the 3.5L 4X. Seem the pictures of both fitted on here (thanks for posting) but a bit undecided which one. The 4X looks really neat and leaves the filler cap free, but I would like to use the map pocket which is bigger on the 4H. Can you fit much in the 4X ? I guess you need to protect the tank from the straps with some clear tape or film ?

I know ultimately it's what you want to carry in the Tank Bag that probably makes the choice for you, but I'd appreciate any advice from anyone who's been using the Enduristan bags. Don't really want to have to buy both....
