Does your tail tidy have the tear drop shape holes that would accept OEM indicators that you know of?  Many of the aftermarket ones have a round 10mm hole for aftermarket indicators only.

Yes, the latest version of  Camel Adv's tail tidy has the OEM teardrop holes. They also provide the 10mm adapters needed for the usual aftermarket signals.

Those USB sockets with voltmeters are super handy. Very cheap too. Have you experienced any issues with your rear right turn signal melting as a result of its proximity to your exhaust?

Not at all. Although they're right below the exit, they don't actually make any contact with the exhaust itself so I'm pretty confident there won't be any melting issues.

Changes Made:

  - Installed Cyclops Adventure Aurora LED kit

Box contents.

IMG_20220728_170107.jpg.4e94219fc76207c431545d4ade44bb64.jpg

Installing the mounting bracket + lights. There's a couple of bolts and a rubber cover that you have to remove and replace with the mounting kit.

IMG_20220729_092952.jpg.25afd12876b728945679c1cb61339346.jpg

IMG_20220729_095009.jpg.ed44b509f61fc664ad0e07f6d85e36c4.jpg

Tucking in the controller. The manual recommends that you tuck the controller in and have all the cables come out from the left/clutch side of the bike, but I changed it up such that only the cables connecting to the LEDs themselves exit from the left while having the power and high beam cables exit directly from the right.

IMG_20220729_095805.jpg.fc1f0a2134705e15d95030cdcecda190.jpg

Plugging into the accessory power and tapping the high beam wire. Since I had these cables coming out from the right side, I didn't have to loop them behind the forks as recommended by the manual.

IMG_20220729_104502.jpg.32a5874817bf1679eae8a4eaa40c7440.jpg

IMG_20220729_104514.jpg.4fdf3ac52f9eb40ed3be5d3c61d3106f.jpg

Connect, zip tie and tuck away the extra long cables coming from the LED lights.

IMG_20220729_113943.jpg.89d35f666512adf64360ae9408374485.jpg

Putting it all back together.

Changes Made:

  - Installed SRC Upper and Lower Crash Bars

Note: Upper crash bars are incompatible with the Cyclops mounting beneath the steering head. I have temporarily removed mine until I acquire new mounting brackets to mount them on the crash bars instead.

IMG_20221017_202105.jpg.e780a5f6715acb15c40073b954ee8c12.jpgIMG_20221017_202119.jpg.4e77f747e4e655edfcab5fb476333333.jpg

Note: Lower crash bars are incompatible with the SW-Motech skid plate. I had to cut off a bit on the sides to make some space.

IMG_20221017_202139.jpg.98e3b068466d535260a2baf45622754f.jpg

IMG_20221017_202154.jpg.9fd270abbceeaebc75f5e1fc8ade46b3.jpg

Even after trimming the skid plate, clearance is still tight. Especially on the right side of the bike, where there's barely a millimeter of space between the skid plate and the lower crash bars.
