I fitted a Tutoro auto chain oiler when I first got my T7; see my install video and photos below:

I like this oiler, no electrics or vacuum lines, the bikes movement makes it work. So, not oiling when stopped at traffic lights etc.

Hope that the video helps

Pros/Cons:

Your chain will last a long long time.... (But your M/C will never be that clean again)!

Stops spokes rusting too ☺️. The Tutoro oil washes off easy enough. So all Pros (for to me)

Yup, a clean spoke is a rusty spoke. 😁🍺 my laziness in cleaning pays off too. Rear wheel is basically “preserved”😁

I'm guessing you don't spend any time off road... This sprocket located thing and the hose would be gone in seconds...

I think I have Yamaha disease...

I spent a lot of off-road time doing Enduros etc but stopped in 2004, guess you’d not have known.

I now spend off-road time on my KLX450R.

The Tenere’s Oiler has survived  off-roading some green-lanes and tracks.

My apologies... No ill intent intended. Just have seen these things 'fall off' in the bush.

Nice looking ride. Wish we could get on-road legal off road bikes in Canada... CRF450L or 500EXC are the only choices, so I made my own on-road legal WR450 for the real harsh stuff.

No worries. WR450 awesome. Loved my slightly tamed and soften YZ250 for Enduros, still would wheelie and wheel spin in every gear. Your bike choices maybe a bit more restricted but what is restricted in N.Ireland is access to decent length terrain.

Here's a couple of pics on how I've done my hose routing for my Scott Oiler.

And I have the opposite problem. Massive amounts of terrain - a LONG ways away.

I've nearly done the same hose routing as @Canzvt  but my oil tank is hidden behind the right side plastics. Stealth setup.

Can you send pics?  What oiler did you purchase?  Scott has three now.  First vacuum, second electronic and now third, apparently better electronic. @Canzvt same Q's (although you have pics).

I bought the vacuum system. My pics are above. Vacuum port is the right (IIRC) cylinder intake port that has a rubber cap on it.

I have a CLS oiler

Dieser Kit sorgt dafür, dass Ihr Motorrad den Vorteil des Kettenantriebs mit dem Vorteil des Kardanantriebs verbindet. Er ist eine Weiterentwicklung...

here you can see how it hides underneath the plastics
