They definetly look good. Have you tried them with a passenger?

I'm deciding between this ones or Enduristan Blizzard size L, but my main concern is if I will be able to use them when doing small trips with my girlfriend on the rear seat.

I haven’t but I also haven’t had a passenger on it at all. I had my wife sit on the Rally seat with all the racks on and she said none of the bars got in her way.

The enduristan looks like it may get in the way of pillion foot peg access. The Kreiga not so much. I can see if we can get a ride in with Wife on the back and bags this weekend.

Do you have any pics of your set up?

Was considering the SWMotech rear rack, but I don't know about compatibility issues with side racks of other brands. The Rally Ride side rack looks pretty good, did you have to modify anything to make them work with the SWMotech rack?

I haven't actually installed yet. I need the spacers. They are listed as being supplied but I didn't receive them. Got an email inquiry to find out options. But just holding them up I know I am going to like this setup. I'll be running MM Reckless 80 system.

The SW Motech sold me with all of the available modular options. I got the Rotopax adapter, Givi top box kit, and a larger rack plate. So many options depending on what I need or want.

"Supplied with 4 spacers (28.5mm long) so that our Luggage Racks can fit with SW-Motech Rear Rack."

I'm doing nearly exactly the same thing as you (RR side racks + Reckless 80) with the only difference of using the B&B compact rear rack.  The coincidences go on:  I've purchased and received the side racks but haven't mounted them yet because I don't have the right spacers yet to combine the side racks with my rear rack.  I considered ordering some spacers from McMaster Carr (another forum member recommended this to me) but am not in a rush and would rather just have the ones from Rally Raid if I can, after all the included tapered ones they sent with the order look slick.

I reached out to Rally Raid a couple of days ago via email about the updated spacers, they told me they are working on getting said spacers machined and would be willing to send them to me free of charge if I covered the postage to the US - so I'm just waiting for next steps on that process.  I'm excited about getting it all in place, it should be a nice combo.

Does anyone know the compatibility of AdvSpec side soft luggage racks and other rear racks by other brands?

AdvSpec + B&B

AdvSpec + SW motech

AdvSpec + Hepco&B

Etc...

Black Dog Cycleworks Helo Pad rack popped up on the forum recently.  It seems like it might click right into where the rear seat does?  I run a Reckless 80 and have been waiting for something very minimal.  I was leaning toward B&B's rack but I think the Helo Pad is what I may go with.

I’ve been looking at that as well but can’t decide if I want it since you can’t use a rally seat with it. .
Also emailed with these guys who say they are developing a rear rack. I like how minimal their other racks are.

AS side rack and B&B rear rack are compatible. 6mm spacers are required between the two. See my post in parts upgrade and reviews.

Did you purchase your B&B rack from B&B in Australia?  I thought they had a USA dealer, but I can't find it.

I have the Rally Raid soft luggage racks, which are great, and I've been waiting for RR to make a rear tail rack to complement the side racks, but am also looking at other options, and the B&B tail rack seems solid.

Scaggs makes some nice racks.  Would really like to see what they come up with for the T700.

Ive been looking at the RR side racks vs the AS. One thing i like about the RR is the ability to add the aux fuel tank. Has anyone been a bale to do this with the AS side rack?

Bumpin this thread to see if anyone else has picks of the B&B Offroad Compact pics to share? I've got the back bike and was curious to see what this rack looks like in black or the silver on the bike.

Seems that this rack is about the smallest and least obtrusive which is what I'm after.

If anybody else has some pics of it on their bike, Id love to see it. Thank you!

SWMotech rear rack, Yamaha rally rear seat section, Seat Concepts tall seat.  I had to "modify" the aluminum (cut 1/2" off the back) of the rear seat section so it would clear the rear rack upon removal.

I had considered the Adventure Spec side panels but I'm going with Tech Spec adhesive pads on the side plastics instead of a rack.  I really dislike the "wide load" look that most side racks give an otherwise slender bike. I'm running DrySpec D20 panniers so they're gonna be a bit "poofy" anyway.

Anyone tried these yet? Legend gear slc. About £70 per side. Louis moto.  I’m not 100%.
I was hoping givi would do one of their simple supports just to hold bags off the plastics like they do for loads of other bikes. Usually anything from £30 to £100. The others just don’t do it for me. I don’t want to hide the shape of the bike with plates when the bags aren’t on. Don’t know why yam couldn’t get the zorst a bit closer like my 86 ten. Then we could have straight, close fitting frames for 30 litre soft bags.

Has anyone ever got ADV's racks to work with the OEM Yamaha rear rack?

Went to try to install AS side racks today.  See photo for what it looks like.  All the spacers are in the correct positions.  I think there may actually be something off with my subframe, as this is the third rack I've tried and all have had major fitting issues.  Bike has never been dropped.  I called the local dealer and they offered no real help.

I reckon it would be worth asking the dealer to bring out a genuine set of racks to prove its straight, have the plastics off in their presence and look together. Eyes are always best gauge of subframe being parallel. As it’s so new it would be a warranty claim if it’s not straight. Don’t let them fob you off. Don’t worry though. All racks take some fiddling. With all the pieces together first but loose, then tighten bit by bit. But I suppose the adv spec is one piece? Get to the dealer quick though before any warranty expires, just in case. Let us know how it goes.

@Toei I don't do the bolts up tight when  installing. You install all fasteners loose including footpeg bolts, but you may need to "persuade " the rack/ brackets till all bolts are started in their corresponding holes. Then you're ready to tighten them up.👍

EDIT: there's multiple folds in the  design,  and that's a minor discrepancy the bolt hole is a mere fraction out in the scheme of things.

Thats how I fitted my AS pannier racks. Left everything loose until fitted then tightened everything up.👍

i have the MADADV products rear rack and pannier frame.

I use soft panniers that are made local but similar to the largest Giant Loop offering.

I have ordered something similar to a Kreiger  to use on the pannier on one side for day rides and to ofset a rotopax on the other.

MAd Adventure Products specialises in Yamaha Tenere A700 pannier bike kits for motorbike adventuring fanatics. Makes custom kits for KTM & BMW bikes.
