Aftermarket game is just getting stronger for Tenere 700 after so many years. Seems like this model is here to stay. This is nuts, i dont recall any other bike that has this status

Oh yea, I remember when I got the at Launch here in NA in 2020, even then since EU had it first there were some decent options. Now its everywhere from aliexpress, ebay, to specialty companies making something for it. Heck, there's even a turbo

Ok, just ordered a set myself.

Fingers crossed import duties are not too much.

Keep us posted - they do look good

Black plastics on the ceramic ice bike could look something like this. (of course with the updated shape from R-Tech)

What do you think?

I'm not 100% sure if I like the look of the "holes" on the RTech fairings.

I think I would have prefered if they had just made 1:1 the original fairings. But I will wait for some pics of the black plastics. Multiple guys on FB seem to have ordered them already so there should be pictures soon...

The really good thing though is the price. Here in EU for the price of a set of camel side fairings you can get a whole set of the R-Tech pretty much... 😄

I only worry that it will a little bad at the tank as these plastics seem to show more of the tank towards the front. I'm also not 100% sure if I like the look of the "holes".

I wonder if water/rain will get more into the fairings with the side holes/vents. And also now just though about the 3 piece back panel vs OEM one piece. the ECU sits on the left side, hopefully water doesn't go past the joints and toward it, maybe why Yamaha made a one piece sealed piece.

Having that in 3 pieces is nice, saves taking the whole panel off just to access one side though.

Thanks OK185. I took your picture and played a little with it. During that I found out that there is a difference in the "central side panel" comparing it to the original.

The hole for the seat lock (1) is missing and one of the bolts has a different position (2). 🤔

I found out that everything seems to be ok...😅

They flipped the foto from the right side for whatever reason. A screenshot from the video shows that. It's blurry but obvious visible.

Can't wait.

Rtech have just added new kits with black middle panels. Probably a lot of people were asking for it.

Ugh, I wanted black side panels with the white, already ordered on WD. Since the sides will be hard to wrap with the texture, black hides them nicely and flows better with the lines. Nice to see them act so quick

I ordered the white as well. I just dropped WD an email to see if they can supply with black center sections.

If I’m honest I never noticed in the pictures that the centers were white. Black would look better but not too fussed either way.

Same for me buddy, but I think even the white side panels might look good. I'd have preferred customizable sets to be honest! But the price at WD is still so good that we could add black panels (or maybe grey) later.

This roughly should be the look:

The price is good, I even debated buying an extra black set just for them, as it was only $80 more than getting just the two pieces sent from Rtech. The all white isn't bad, down the road we can always get the black separately.

The All white does have a sleeker KTM 990 Baja look, I used to love that bike.

That 990 side view is timeless.

Some pics from the FB group. Do they rear panels look more flat or is it just me? (Basically the are less vertical than the OEM who have a kind of kink in them and then go down more steeply?)

I wonder if this would affect soft luggage like my Enduristan Blizzards. But I guess there is not much in it.

That color scheme looks great, the back does look a bit more flat. Also alot of other Rtech parts on there I haven't seen yet like the frame protectors and engine guards

Those vents look gorgeous!

I'm a colour matching nerd, if my Acerbis don't fit I might go down that route as well...

I also think the rear side panels might be a bit sleeker in the upper area. But they need to extend as far as the OEM panel to fit the black lower plastics. So probably no problems with soft luggage (Mosko in my case).

It's you. The RTech parts will be fixed to the underside of the bike in the original position. Altering the outer form of the fairings in that way would make fitting it to the rest of the bike a challenge. Especially with the mud guard/fender.

I got a response back from WD. They’re unable to change a kit by mixing coloured parts, I kind of expected that but good to know.

Not mad keen on the side panels tbh. Think camel adv did a better job

There seems to be also a tail tidy coming from them.

It has  mechanism to change the license plate angle quickly between  a 30° and 60°.

And apparently there is some kind of quick release function (not sure if that is a good idea 😁)

I’ll reserve judgment until I see them in the flesh but from the pictures I like the look of them.

I think they’ve been smart with making the tail section in 3 pieces, probably saves a chunk on mould costs. The side panel also looks like it incorporates the vent panels which sit behind the standard side panel.

Aye I'm happy to change my mind when we see a set side by side with the oem panels.

I'm only really interested in the side panels but yeah the three piece tail section is a smart move for manufacture and I can't help think it might be good for making little storage spaces

Haven't thought about that yet, great idea! I'll check that as soon as they're here. There's quite some space hidden behind the OEM panels, but it is really not useful (takes something like 21 screws and two plastic clip things to remove the tail section I think).

Regarding the side panels, I totally adore Rtech's shape. Those air scoops look way cooler to me than the OEM slotted ones. Nice job combining side panels and air scoops.

Now RTech has a configurator on their website. Not perfect but you can get a little idea what your T7 would look like. The only thing is that you cannot alter the rim color.
