Recommend me some footpegs

Duncan666

Recommended Posts

Looking for pics and recommendations for some wider foot pegs on the T7.

I like the look of the IMS pegs, but they don’t state they fit the T7? Will pegs for a WR450 fit?

What works well, what looks good?

thanks

WR450 pegs And springs fit perfect.

Same size as OEM and position, but more grip and holes so dirt dont build up.

Part numbers:

5XC-27411-M2

5XC-27421-M2

90508-28015

90508-28018

(left and right side pegs and springs)

If that's the case it seems funny that people who don't complain that the WR450 footpegs are too short say that the T7 ones are  ??

There are about just as many opinions on pegs as with tyres and others stuff😂😉

I can confirm WR450 fits and work well for me, but some want them extra wide etc... The best thing is to find out what works best for you😉

Hi is there anyone out there using the  T7 Rally pegs and if so how do they feel because they are wider and lower.

Hi, I've just ordered T7 Rally pegs, like 3 hours ago 🙂, so if you can wait a few days (...I hope),  I'll be back with some feedback.

Hey r2r,

I ordered a set of pegs from t7rally on January20.

I didnt notice the “Backordered” at the time, it’s in small print when you check out.

Used his link on the website to request information last week and did not get a reply.

Just copied and pasted the invoice from paypal and sent it in an email tonight.

I understand he’s running a small start up business but it would just be good practice to get back to buyers in a timely fashion.

Will let you know if I hear back.

   Jeff

WOW, some of those pegs are big!  I think big bruises are in order on lower legs working tough ground on a bike with those!

gone2seed, thank you for this information. I did not notice "Backordered" either, and now I'm not happy about it. Checked his facebook site and he's not very active there too. It's not a common behavior for any serious business to let your clients wait a week for an answer and to use small "not available" footprints not in the description of the product but only during a payment. It doesn't look good for now, but we will see what happens next . . .

Gone2seed and r2r I hope you receive your pegs soon but I will hold off ordering any until one or both of you guys but some review on here

Cheers Steve

I have had several Bosley footpegs. High quality, good price, excellent customer service.
I recommend Rally size Bosley footpegs.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I am thinking I will need a more substantial set of pegs to help control this beast offroad, and these should do the ticket.

I have a feeling rally pegs are too wide, especially when sitting on the bike and trying to push it/move it using your legs and hitting the pegs all the time. What's your experience? How much bigger are standard Bosley  pegs over the original ones?

Cheers

I had a previous bike with standard size Bosley pegs, not a bad option either.

But ... if you drive more offroad, rally size is a better option and not too wide if you have to push your bike. Foot is easier to put on wide pegs when you drive offroad, fast rally on gravel or narrow bouncy forest road.

Perhaps late to the party, but I've just fitted some of these to my bike:

The Touratech Works foot pegs have been specially strengthened at the mounting point, making them significantly less susceptible to impacts. The Works products are an optical highlight as well. Blasted stainless steel with a special laser inscription make

This is how they compare to stock in terms of size:

And matched up to the rear brake lever extension:

Haven't ridden the bike with them on yet (currently in lock-down 😢), but based on the garage test it feels like I have more room around the clutch cover area.

Fit and finish is spot on.

Hi! Thanks for pics!

Quick question related to your pics: do you have the touratech skid plate and SW motech centerstand?

I ask as I want to install the skid plate but am not sure if they are compatible 🙄

Thanks in advance. Best

Hi,

I've got the Touratech skid plate, but the centre stand is Hepco & Becker.

Here a couple of photo's that might help give you an idea of clearances:

I did consider the SW Motech stand as well, and looking at the assembly instructions they appear to be very similar designs so I think you'd probably be OK. But obviously I can say for sure!

Cheers, Mike

Thanks so much! Very useful pics to check with mine. Looking good, I also believe it would fit but will do a last check before ordering.

Thanks again and ride safe!

Did you ordered the Pivot Pegz MK3 or did you manage to get the new MK4 which is supposed to be a bit larger?

I have not seen the MK4 anywhere except from someone who got them for testing (directly from the manufacturer)

I heard that the MK3 are quite small, but I have yet to see them.

Any tips on how the MK3 behave under the boots? ... are they large enough?
