Recommend me some footpegs

I cant stand giant foot pegs. When I had my KTM 950 I put on a pair of the KTM  Rally pegs I think they were called. They would catch on everything.

What's are my options for pegs that are a bit larger and lower/offset?

I'm in the same boat on this.

One lowered/offset option that I'm looking into:  Bosley offers lowered / offset stainless steel pegs welded on order.  Link below to his FB page and what's offered for the T7.

I've never ordered from him before myself, just emailed the other day to ask about pricing and haven't heard back yet.  There's a QR code on his page that he asks you to email thru.  It's all a bit cryptic but a lot of people have ordered from him prior and seem to like the pegs.  I'd be willing to give them a shot if the price is right.

I run Pivot pegs.  You will have to reconfigure them for a lower setting.  THey're comfy to stand on for many minutes at a time and with Sid Adventure Gortex's I don't have sore feet standing for long periods.

I just put on some Moose Onyx footpegs. same width as OEM and about 1/2" longer with the same tread agressiveness as stock pegs - which I wanted so I didn't tear up my boots as much.

I used Moose part# 1620-1239 (no offset). You can get 1/2" rear offset too, part# 1620-1240

These are very adjustable to 15mm in any direction. i set them on lowest setting (i dont ride ruts) so that standing is more comfy. SW-Motech Footpegs EVO Yamaha Tenere 70 (motorradgarage.com.au) 60sec to install.

If you installed foot pegs that fast I need a how to tutorial. I always end up fighting the springs a bit.

Yep, that's my T7 in the pic. I used the stock peg springs too. I did feel like the spring end at the peg needed to be bent out a bit to make good contact with the peg, but that was easy. No more than about 1/8".

Yep, they fit. I went with the Moose Hybrid's. I kept the stock springs also, just wound em up a bit. I like the pegs, and I also like the $100 price tag.

Those expensive EVOs. one of the pads fell off on a ride today...its gone. I dont like buying things where parts just fall off. Even if the pegs works better without it, randomly falling apart is not good.

I noticed on there site that they sell the rubber insert separately.  How convenient.  I would ask for a bit of warranty.

@JimmyTheHuman That is sad.

I am very pleased with my Pivot-Pegs, I have about 5000 mi. on them mostly in the dirt and they continue to preform very well.

Agreed, the pivot-pegz are great. Only mildly larger than stock in width & length not so silly big to the point of catching on things. Performed well so far & no troubles. You’re either a fan of the pivot concept or not, but the cyclist in me prefers them to standard.
Not cheap, but good quality.

We have foot pegs available for the Tenere 700. CNC Machined from billet aluminum. The larger platform area gives you better control and reassuring grip over the factory foot pegs. We moved the centerline offset of the pegs back just a bit giving more room to operate the shifter.

Just wanted to update this and say I'm really pleased with the @Rival Component footpegs.  Bonus, you get to drop approximately a half pound from your bike when you switch to these 👍.

They're nice and big and grippy.

Can anyone say for certain if a pair of left over KTM 950 pegs would mount up on a t7?

I put the blue ones on the tenere today and they work great. I just had to take two notches out where they didn't clear the bolts that hold on the mounts

am I correct to assume that these are for a wr 450? do you by chance have a picture of these next to the oem ones? If not what are the measurements and do you have any long term review input? thanks.

I bought a set with no regrets. These don't seem to tear up my boots like the fast way pegs did.

Question:.. Is there rubber replacement footrests we can install on the passenger ones?

Back in the day there were some for the front ones (FZR1000)... But that time is long gone, and looking at the passenger ones, it looks to me like the same design and size.

I have a complaint the there is too muvh vibration in the passenger footrests.

Any ideas?

You can find lots of rubber topped FZR6 footpegs on ebay from China that will work.

Quite a few people on the fz09.org forum replaced the stock footpegs with these on their FZ-09/MT-09, or swapped out the passenger with a set of these as well.
