On Saturday, I rode to a biker café not far from my home.

This is what the bar looks like:

Nice. Looks like a classic (1st super bike) Z900 engine 👍

That's a decoration piece.

I also have a Honda Crosstourer and this is an VFR1200 engine like in the Crosstourer.

It's sitting in my living room.

Nice one. At very first glance it thought it was the Tenere engine. Hence, my ‘what da hack’ comment lol.

What have I done for the t7 today? Treated her to a pub lunch in a beer garden, my first trip out with no reason/ nowhere particular to go in ages. 🍺😁.

Treated her lower parts with ACF-50!

To make things clear: rubbing it onto rims and spokes of course, using the rag which I had usedfor wiping off ACF-50 excess before.

It's only a very thin coating now on the wheels, hope it helps to prevent especially spoke corrosion.

By the way, I used some cling film for wrapping the disks and brake calipers. Worked ok, disks and pads should not have been in contact with any of that stuff.

Motoz dual venture front & Adv. rear added to stock supply. If these aren't incentive to wear out the mitas currently mounted I don’t know what is.

Those look rather aggressive.  Do you think they will last on any length of pavement?

I have had Mitas E09 and an E10.  Both wear rapidly.  Like 5000 km and done .

Apparently these render great mileage & traction. (For the price, they better!) Both rated as a 50/50’s. Their ‘Rallz’ is a more widely spaced 30/70

The front is a fairly new model that’s reversible! Apparently also wears & handles better than their previous Adv front it replaces. Which I never did try.

Motoz gets extra miles by starting  with deeper tread than any other. But also have beefy carcasses & that results in them being quite heavy too.

The Mitas E10 front has been ok. Good off road but a bit squirmy on & should be cooked around the same time the new E07+ rear is done.

Typical 2 rears to 1 front thing.

The E10 rear earned them the name ‘Meltass’ for how rapidly it dissolved.

Same as you found, GONE in well under 5000k.

Looks great!

Did you have to make any adjustments to the clutch in any way or was it plug&play?

The reason i'm asking is that I tried swapping mine today, but the clutch lever didn't "return" to start when released.

The same original Yamaha parts, but directly bought from Gilles. Less expensive.

You still riding with these levers? Any issues with them and the barkbusters? How much of a gap is between them? Thanks!

Plug and play. Super easy swap.

Camel ADV tail tidy and Cyclops multi-function signals.

If all the upgrades I have done, the Cyclops signals make the bike look WAY better, provide front running lights and increase brake light visibility. Not cheap, but worth it.

Suspension and the Adventure spec soft luggage mount and center stand are all I have left on my to do list for now.

Made the clutch lever more to my liking. Cut it, bent it out to a comfortable position, put a slight curve in it, then wrapped it with grip tape.
