Another snow day play time! Being old and semi -retired has it's perks. 🙂

AWESOME. We've had some snow here as well, after more than 10 years. Sadly, this means three things:

- Idiots in cars being stuck on the roads or sliding around uncontrolled

- Salty roads

Would love riding in such conditions as yours one day.

Snow is a nice change of pace for sure especially since it's not an every day affair during the winter where I live. As for crazy drivers, yeah we have those too.  Luckily I live in a pretty rural area so depending on which way I go I can avoid most of the nuts other than the fellow making my own shadow.... 😉

Windblown, I have huge respect for you.  Super cool pictures.

We have snow up here in Wisconsin, but I would never attempt to take my 450 pound pig out in it (Too old, I guess).

If i slid out once, the bike would be there until spring...

@Windblown I also have much respect for your riding ability. Can you flat foot your T7? There is no way I could stop there and not tip over

Thanks. Not super skilled, just pick and choose the snow days to play in carefully and have ice screws installed which makes a huge difference.  If wet/heavy/slushy I avoid playing on the bike in it.  Light and powdery, or very hard and frozen works well though.

I'm blessed with long legs which helps for sure. About a 33-34" inseam.

What a difference a few inches makes 🙂

One last one for good measure from the afternoon ride. The sign made me chuckle a little.

Not much to do in winter in the Alps.

Just got tubeless conversion done and I wonder if I should have gone for black rims 😆

Which tubeless did you do and did you grind off the tops of the spoke nipples? And no to the black rims 🙂

I had it done at Bartfactory in Italy. It's quite popular here. They have a patented system with warranty.

Did they do the front also? their web site says the wheel must have "bead break technology" and the front does not on the T7

That's true. They replace the front rim with an Excel rim that has a safety bead, they won't make the modification without it.

Interestingly here in Italy going tubeless on the T7 is becoming a common mod, while in other places (for example Germany) people don't seem to care at all. I was at the MBE fair this weekend and almost all the modded up T7's were tubeless. It's now also popular in big bike racing to use tubeless+mousses, as some kind of runflat system.

This is in Israel. Ill post more often pictures from my rides.

This specific ride was in a day we got a brake from the rain so I rode south east to the Judean Desert, on trails over the cliffs along side the Dead Sea. From there on I rode south-west and as you get further to the west the scenery becomes greener.
Here are some more pics from this ride but without the bike in them.
