We started welding pedal tips today and the small parts are starting to trickle in from the machine shop. The main pedal bodies are cut and forming starts tomorrow. I like all the projects we do but I love this one!

Silver and gold

Silver and gold

Everyone wishes

For silver and gold

How do you measure it's worth

Just by the pleasure it gives here on Earth?

I just posted the pre-order option on the site. Obviously, if you pre-order and change your mind before shipping, it's fully refundable.

For those that want to wait, we'll have full details and pics posted Oct 26th!

@Camel ADV Does your fix also include making the pedal bigger/wider? I was looking into something like this AltRider's dual brake system because I sometimes have difficulty locating my rear brake, but if you also offer a solution to this in addition to all the other things then I'd rather just wait for your product to release.

AltRider DualControl Brake System for the Yamaha Tenere 700 - The average person takes 0.5 to 1 full second to react to hazards. Traveling at 60 MPH, a rider will travel 25 to 50 feet before being able to properly react. Most...

The tip is bigger than OEM but smaller than the add-on platform you linked to.

Hi Cory, just ordered the T7 Rear Brake Pedal. As stated in earlier post, my rear brake pedal is cracked and pretty bent up, so timing of this product is perfect.

Thank you...Dave M. in AZ

Can you arrange a pre-order via Rally-Motor.nl or do you ship a bunch over right away?

Stoked to hear about this! Put one in the cart along with new pads.

What happened to the front pads tho? Just on back order?

Cool. I think I'll wait for more photos to release before I make a decision. A side-by-side comparison to stock would be much appreciated.

I'm curious about this product because I genuinely never had a problem with my rear brake. With the original pads there was plenty of power to pull the bike up in normal riding without using the front. Actually one of the more powerful rear brakes I've ever used.

That changed when I put the non-Brembo cheap pads in though. But I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of rear brake stopping power for greater than 5000kms out of  set of pads...

Other than that the only thing I've done is grease the pivot, which like the shift lever pivot was bone dry.

Pedal doesn't feel worse than any other bike I've ridden, and the pedal always returns to the normal position.

I don't have much of a problem with the rear other than pads wearing. I have already changed them for MetalGear sintered and they seem OK. I have a spare set in the toolbox and being Aussie the price is right.

Still interested what Cory has in the pipeline.

I ordered it!

for anyone on the fence, the site says they’ll guarantee it.

I’m impressed enough with the other Camel ADV products I’ve bought that I know this will be a quality piece.

Brakes pads... my god, what train wreck. We moved August, our suppliers were all emailed with the new address on July 29th. Despite confirming they had the new address, the supplier shipped the pads (and a bunch of brake lines equalling about $3500USD) to the old address. Even though our email address and phone number are on the shipping label (and UPS is here twice a day) they opted to not tell us they had a package that was undeliverable due bad address. The package sat at the warehouse 2 weeks and was deemed "abandoned" so now they are refusing to deliver it even though they have the proper address (which is about 10 blocks from old address). Countless calls and emails but still no resolution. Not UPS's fault it was shipped to the wrong address but a simple address change should not be this dramatic.

We sent an email to all of our dealers this morning letting them know about the product and asking them to get their orders in. If you guys have dealers that you want to buy the pedal from, it will be helpful if you reach out to them and ask them to order one for you.

@Camel ADV you could add a brake snake (braided steel cable, some crimp-on ferrules) to your parts list...

It's on the list of future options. It definitely won't make the initial few batches though.

Following. I am one of the lucky few that the rear brake somehow hangs up without my knowledge and the rotor gets red hot and the rear brake fails entirely until it all cools down.  Another friend with a T7 just told me that he had what he thought would be another 1000 miles of  rear brake pads and in 100 miles he was almost down to the metal. I am all ears on this.

Will that add-on platform (or similar) be able to be used with "The Fix"?
