Out early yesterday morning, cruising around PA's Tuscarora State Forest. Cool temps and no one else around made for a great ride, but unfortunately no technical sections to play on.

Your bike look good how do you like the single Disc brake ( 320 mm?)? Any ABS or CEL, warning?

I like the lighter feeling front and better suspension action.  Yep, it's a 320mm rotor.  No warning lights. ABS works fine.

The conversion isn't always the right choice and really depends on what one does with the bike.  If I was running two-up or sticking to pavement or graded unpaved roads I'd stick with the dual set-up.  But I never ride two-up and I enjoy semi-technical terrain from time to time where loosing the unsprung weight off the front has some benefits.

New machine arrived. Moved from the Tiger 900 GT Pro to the Tiger 660 Sport and now to the Tenere 700. Looking to keep this one for a bit longer as the wife is not happy with all the bikes. lol. Total different ride to all the other bikes I have ridden.

Yesterday, I rode short part of TET Poland, and at the end of the day I met my old friend on his Suzuki DR800. That was surprise for both of us that we came across each other.

Up to Salmo Lookout for some evening pics. And some great views into Idaho and Canada.

What made you move on from the Tiger 660 Sport?  Obviously its not an off road bike.  Did you like it?

I move from the Tiger 900 GT Pro to the Tiger 660 Sport as I was looking for a smaller lighter bike but the only thing was that the couple of days I want to go on gravel trails or just explore a bit more I do not have the option. The Tiger 900 was an awesome bike but too many bells and I was looking to try and get back into a bit of gravel trails. But I can say that the Tiger 660 is a smooth bike and runs super nice. The Tenere is a bit more rough around the edges. But its still early days... want to get the 600 mile service sorted. Shout if you have more questions.

I have a few videos about the bike on my channel if you interested

Nice. You’d like the Healy Pass on the next southern peninsula

  • 2 weeks later...

Had a great Saturday out on the Tenere 700 exploring some single lane roads. Getting use to this bike and starting to really enjoy it.
