The sign was coming out of some dirt, shortly before tarmac, which was the odd part. The dirt prior was a bit muddy and slick from some rain, but not bad at all...wide, chill trail.

Slate Creek Road in NE Washington.   The sweeping, rolling ride along the creek is the ADV version of soft jazz.  Only a brief moment switching tracks on wet grass to almost spoil the moment.
