Brilliant. Less kit = better riding fun ☺️

This turned in quit the adventure, 2 hours of playing in the mud and i was out. Been on this trail many times but not after a big rain storm, must say it took a couple extra beers when i got to camp!

Fair play and pulling and hauling. Not the best mud tyres lol.

One thing is for certain - When you approach a mud hole littered with cut up lengths of logs sticking up out of the ooze and opt to cross it on your 450lb motorcycle, it's probably going to be memorable... LOL.

What a great set of photos.

It's no wonder that Ray, the starter of this thread, wanted his ashes to be scattered on a special place in Norway, according to his surviving dependants.

As many of you might remember, he made his big 9000 km ScanBaltic trip around this time of the year in 2022. I am sure he must have found said place during this trip.

Farewell my friend.

Not motocross, unfortunatelly never got chance to even try it, but i did race Enduro a bit

But i learned leg stright in to a corner on heavy bikes as if you do it with bent knee you always end up being to late with leg asecuration 🙂

So i do this everytime i need bigger lean angle... its usualy works and i dont drop the bike when front wash out.

Enduro is so much better than round and round a motocross track.

How are you route planning with the XT? Im using The Garmin explore app to plan, sending that to the Drive app and sync that to the XT.  Its working pretty well.

Funny, I did a fly and ride to pick the bike up in Billings and fetch it back to Oregon. A guy at the motel made the same joke.

But this is how big the Giant Loop is if you fill it. I had warm gear, camping stuff, tools, food and water . . . it added up like that.

My cousin and his 890R Adv from the other end of the state dropped by, and we did some exploration in three state forests over the past two days. Riding on top of the ridges was a welcome break from the 90s F heat and humidity in the valleys.

Good stuff…. It holds loads. Does look weird odd. Inverted Y is clever. Enjoy.
