Diy progressive 1/5 throttle tube.

Would that fit as a replacement part on the original throtle tube?

3d print?

If it works out would you be open to making some more and selling some?

Does this reduce throttle travel?

The tube is made of billet POM plastic with lathe and milling. This is a hobby for me, unfortunately I don’t make sales.

Fitted a Heed headlight guard...so I know when I'm blasting across the Sahara a flying rock won't shatter the headlight.....(ha ha!). The truth is  I fitted it because I like the look of it...a bit Dakar/ Mad max 'ish.  And there is a very slim chance of a branch whacking the headlight on some of the green lanes I ride.

A one bike man now.

After a lot of procrastinating and my mate hounding me to sell my XT I finally relented and he rode it out of my shed today. So I’m down to the T700 only. I know I probably would have not used the XT because I love the T7 but it was sad to see it go. A lot of miles and fond memories were had on it.

The up side is I have a lot more room in my shed.

A  bike with supposedly less vibration you don't really need them, if I find I do i'll fit some smaller ones to to outside.

Plus they added 70mm overall extra unnecessary width, we all like a different set-up 👍

Nice! Was that a Huzar exhaust? If so how did it sound compared to standard? And how does the fake Acra compare?

Hi Bill can you tell me what make of pannier frames you have on your bike. Do they fit well with what looks like the Yamaha rear rack.
Cheers Steve

Hi The frames are genuine Yamaha i have altered them to take the Givi treker cases from my last bike and because i have the exhaust can tucked in tight, to keep the right case in tight as well. Bill

That whole set up looks really good and the exhaust is well tucked away. Which exhaust is it.

Cheers Steve

very nice solution with the exhaust 🙂

i have changed some parts today.

the bike pics will come later 😄

the rugged roads Rear Brake Reservoir Guard and the RR Chainguard fit good and with out any issues.

then i go to the drc Ultra Wide Footpegs and they fit good too, but the lower shaft is not as thick the oem one,

so the spring dont will hold and always go down and look out. i have looked in the garage and luckily found some

mirror spacer rubber from my vespa and that fits perfect, the will be hold hold and have any chance to get out.

the stand of the wider pegs is very good and better for me like the standard ones.

after this i have try to mount the Billet Aluminium Front Brake Reservoir Cap and this part dont fits at all.

the cap isnt enough milled out in width and height, so it cant fit.

i dont have mount the barkbusters, because rugged roads have send me white guards and black wind deflectors

and i have ordered white ones. my brother have order many months ago the same one for his africa twin and get

all white, like it have to be and like he ordered.

Hi Bill

So does that exhaust make the panniers quite warm inside or have you devised a way to keep the heat away from the right hand pannier. Did the link pipe take a lot of making and do you have pipe bending kit tucked away in your garage.

The booble head looks a good bit of design. I have fitted the Camel Ad versions which connect further down the rear of the headlamp.

Cheers Steve
