About 4-5 kilos lighter.

Did you make that rack or buy it?  I would love a small simple rack like that.

Completed 2 free mods today,

I cut the long end of the stock sidestand spring at the middle of the loop and rebent it.  Now the stand retracts with a bang (not as bad as it sounds) and It almost totally eliminates any retracted movement.

Then I completed an Easy Clutch pull mod.
I cut stock lever arm in half, then welded in a 1/2" extension.  Next was to bend in the cable guide to align.

Finally got to test the mod. Oh my, did this ease the clutch stiffness, especially with thick winter gloves on. Action feels exactly like my TE and FE's hydraulic clutches!

Do you have a pattern you can share or did  you free ball it?  To me it’s about the best rack design that I have seen for the T7

Stripped off the plastics ready for a good coat of look-over and a deep clean. She's a bit mucky underneath!

That is brilliant. I wish i had seen this before i bought bark busters!

Hey Jimmy, I did not want to post my temporary OEM seat fix on the SC thread.

If you want to soften the OEM seat . . . Cut the seat pan to allow the firm foam to sink into the seat pan a bit.
It works better than expected.  I still want a 1pc SC Rally low seat . . . if it is not narrower than the stock seat.

you can start with a 1.5” - 2” cut.  It relieves pressure on the tail bone.

Happy new year from Barcelona!

So I keep the original hand guards.

This looks good. I like the idea of being able to keep original parts if possible.

How did the installation go?

How does the quality seem?

I am onto this, brilliant idea. Mine only needs to be a little bit better. I was going to add a gel pad, but i have reservations about actual comfort improvement, heat and durability.

A soft foam pad under the the stock firm foam works too.  I did this on my MT-07 to raise the seat for more leg room.

it maintains the OEM seat shape.  I used a soft exercise foam pad (wife’s yoga pad) . . .

You could cut a section of the OEM foam out from the bottom side to place a soft gel pad.

You can remove the two rubber bumpers to drop the seat a bit to offset a pad under the seat foam

Very easy!

No need to disassemble the originals to put them, you have to open the angle a little to make the curve bigger and that fits perfectly inside the handguard. The quality is apparently good to protect the originals in a normal fall and that they do not break, I suppose that the alloy in one type Barkbusters will be better in terms of resistance to a great impact.

Replace the screws for better ones,  are really bad.

I mount them thanks to this video.
