I'll be honest; There's not a lot of things I've put on the OEM exhaust that haven't... melted.

Installed these today. Makes chain maintenance and winter storage a lot easier. The spools will be unbolted when I’m riding so they don’t snap off when I tip over.

Giving myself a couple options for caring extra fuel, rear plate or side mount. Either only takes about 5 minutes to setup

Stripped it down even further and treated the inside of the frame with wax. Some portions of the tank and outside of the bike got a coating with  ACF50.

Then I installed a set of engine crash bars.

And some Touratech goodies for the water pump and brake pedal.

And a happy new year everybody.

In hindsight are you happy with and would you recommend the Touratech water pump cover ?? or go with something different ??

Stripped off the plastics ready for a good coat of look-over and a deep clean. She's a bit mucky underneath!

Yes, they are Touratech upper and lower.

They've passed the drop test a few times now too!

The other day I went out and put lock tire on the tail tidy fasteners since I thing I forgot to do that when I installed it.

Today I just went out and admired it 😀

Fitted a set of cheap plastic mirrors. Don’t really like the steel OEM ones being attached to the brake & clutch mounts. Could be an expensive and frustrating end to a trip if you have a wee off.

These ones should hopefully break first and they can be easily folded in if venturing off road.

I received some screen protectors from Speedo Angels at Paulton House, Old Mills, Bristol, UK.

There is 2 of them in the package and will be good considering the amount of dust the screen will be subject to on the Alberta back roads.  I'll review them as soon as I get one of those T7 bikes, and when it quits snowing.

Here's the link

I'm waiting on mine but my concern is the bikes fuel mapping . I've read here that there was a stumble at low RPM's on the Europe models and the UNI filters helped BUT the US models have changed mapping and don't experience that and I can vouch for that as mine runes awesome everywhere in the RMP range. So adding the oiled foam main air filter and a pre filter might richen the fuel mixture ?????? Definitely like the idea of the pre filter maybe un-oiled as its added protection and don't want to restrict air flow..

Are many of the US owners using UNI foam filters and what's your experience ????

I have installed a Uni  prefilter, un-oiled.  No noticeable change in performance. May oil it before going in dusty conditions.

I put on the third hole (softest clutch).

(for me the first two have no much gain)

Feeling is very good. Now I drive the clutch really with one finger.

I spent a little to find the exact disengage point (two or three attempts), but now is ok.

Light clutch!
