What have you done for your T7 today?

I installed the Heed Rear Crash bars in combination with GIVI SR 2145.

Some work required with drill, and little cuts. They are compatible with some effort !

GIVI SR145:

The bars of the Heed have 8 anchor points and have a square bracket that connects them together.

The whole is very very sturdy and able to lift the whole bike.

@MikeCMP I’m curious where you ordered the RallyRaid side racks from, being your in the US. A US vendor?

I've ordered direct from the rally raid site, they were here in under a week.

Good to know thanks. Now that I've finally solidified that I want the rally raid rack. And after months of indecision, but because of the ability to strap on a roto pack.  Now I'm just not sure I can spend $300 (and I don't own a roto pack yet either!) Just to get me to the point of purchasing luggage! Why didn't someone tell me ADV riding would be so expensive!  Lol.

I've said it repeatedly,  Rally Raid & CamelADV? make great product.

I'm using a VERY 1992 set of "soft" luggage over my rally raid racks, and works just fine.   The racks are low profile, and make a great handhold for when you have to move the bike around.

I just couldn't put gigantic air brakes that stick out 3 lanes wide on my T7.  The factory luggage?   while looks cool, and the S10 flavor worked great on my SuperTen? -- its just too big for the T7

as far as expensive... oh, you got a lot more to spend.... 🙂   (spreadsheet full of glorious links and ways to turn hard earned cash into bits for the T7)

On Amazon. Be carefull to chose those with the right mirror with anti-clockwise screw. They must be one clockwise and one not.

We received two inches of snow today........tire change day!  As mentioned by others, the rear Pirelli Rally STR was a bit of a

PITA to break and remove at 6900 miles on the bike.  Both OEM tires were trashed and the bare rims balanced.  The rear took 1

ounce to balance and the front rim required no weight bare!  I installed Shinko 705 tires front and rear as I do no trail riding;  only

rock roads at times.  I cleaned the bike up and will be wiring my Zumo 396 direct to the accessory plug under the right side fairing

with a splitter kit obtained online.

Old tires, new tire, and wiring plug splitter.

Well, Christmas came later this year…

Just finished installing the following:

-          MRA Tall Smoked Screen

-          Oxford Heated grips with controller beside gauge cluster

-          Uni (Aus) pre and main filter

-          New Mitas E-07’s F&R (Old ones worn out)

-          Camel Tidy tail

-          16T Front Sprocket and New RK Gold Series chain

-          Fitted my Mosko Moto 25’s AND my RotoPax to each side of my Outback Motortek racks – Let me know what you think of the install. Pillion pegs removed to accommodate the forward position of the Mosko 25 Bags, and rack extended rearward and down to accommodate the Rotopax.

Just waiting for my new Camel Pipe and my double take mirrors and maybe a high fender kit (with my Camel credit 😊) and then my big piston fork kit, and she should be good to do for the spring. If it weren’t for this damn virus, I’d be in California tomorrow riding!

Awesome, be sure to show us when they arrive. I was gonna do that to my red n white one but was cheaper to get the rally with them, so looking forward to seeing them.

Yeah - Can’t get the Rally over here. Plus I wanted to go “tubeless”.

If you remove the gauge cluster from its mount, you will see you can separate the actual gauge from its sub-frame mount. I have some 3/16" Carbon Fiber "plate" that I cut to fit around the mounting holes of the gauge to the sub-frame, and sandwiched it in place with a flexible epoxy adhesive, then bolted it back up. Did the same on the other side to hold my Tire Pressure Monitor.

So you balanced the wheels without tires ?? So is the hopes to be that the tire will eventually wear balanced ?? I have always balanced my wheels after the tire is installed ..

I did balance the wheels first with out tires.......internet lore is that the light or heavy spot is at the valve stem depending on what you read.....not always true.  I balanced them and it then makes little difference where the tire is mounted.  I then checked with the tire/tube mounted and found the front required no extra weight and the rear one ounce.   I have found most tubeless rims that are balanced bare require very little to no weight with modern tubeless tires.
I balanced my bare Super Tenere wheels and they normally need 0-14grams per tire change.

Fitted the Denali T7 Auxiliary light mount today, very easy to fit and good sturdy mount, cost £79. Prefer the S4’s set further out, hoping Denali bring their new “Cansmart” out for the T7 soon.

I have  the exact same thing but I hung the lights from the bracket to provide some visual separation from the turn indicators.  The lights are very bright!
