For those who installed the Scotts damper with the TripleClamp Moto mount, did you put any lubricant on the SS rod that goes through the brass bushing?  I am about to install mine and there are scratches in the bushing now because in playing with it a burr on the steel rod or some foreign matter has gotten between the two.

@winddownI did not put any lubricant there because I was worried that it would attract dirt.  I would consider the bushing and stainless rod to be wear parts.

What is your impression of the Brake Fix?  Do you have stock pads or galfers?

Installed the Camel Rear brake fix.  Haven’t ridden the bike yet, but the brake pedal feel is 1000% improved. 
 

Turkey dinner then a test ride!

It’s feels great, like it should feel.

 

I have OEM pads/rotors with about 1300km on them.

To me, Galfers added 50% stopping power with the OEM brake pedal. Now, with the FIX the Galfers only add about 20% in my opinion.

That is how it feels to me with about 250 miles  on the new Pedal and Galfers.- ON and off road

Just received my Rolling Mavericks trail stand + Asahi mini wrenches that I got off their site with 20% off. I think it's a great item that can sufficiently serve as a replacement centerstand for most occasions. I especially love the fact that it disassembles completely and packs flat, so it doesn't take up as much space as something that bulges out. As a bonus, I also like that it's anodized in a blue color because it matches my T7.

 

(Please ignore the nicks and scratches, I'm a dumbass that got too excited and immediately tried it out on my bike the moment I got it before taking nice photos)

Now, a question for other trail stand users. How do you manage to lift just the front wheel on our bikes? When I tried attaching the trail stand to the front holes of my SW-Motech skid plate, it lifts BOTH wheels off the ground, making the setup very unstable. I do not think there is an issue with the design of the trail stand itself, since it is a very simple design in the first place. My personal theory is that it is actually my Rally Raid lowered sidestand that's causing issues. The foot of the sidestand has this pointy edge that I think makes it such that when the bike is lifted on it, it makes it naturally unstable (since it rests on a point and not a flat surface) with a bias toward weighting the front. I often pivot my bike on the sidestand when I'm moving it around, or backing out of a parking spot, and I've noticed that the front wheel always drags on the ground, even if I'm carrying a bunch of stuff on the rear that in theory should weight the rear instead. I'd like to hear your opinions first before I take a grinder and flatten that edge on my sidestand.

Update: I spent a bit more time fiddling with the placement of the trail stand, I think I found a good spot for it to lift the front. Not as rock solid as I'd like; I can feel the front trying to turn into the sidestand with a medium strength shake when testing for stability, but I figure it's good enough in a pinch.

I think realistically it's more 20% more braking power and 70% more braking control.

I bought the same trail stand. It's such a clever piece of engineering and soooo light. As a result I removed my centre stand as it was dangerous off road, sticking out and also "clanging"about on the whoops. Over 3kg saved too . Quality design. Rich

So you think you lost effectiveness on the Galfer pads with the Fix pedal?  Thats very interesting.  When I put Galfers on I thought the "grab" was much improved but could still tell immediately that their was still an issue with how much I had to push on the pedal travel-wise.  I assumed between the 2 this bikes rear braking would now exceed other manufacturers.  Maybe not so?

@DT675Sorry I wasn’t clear. 

I had put galfers on previous to the Fix.  I found they had increased my stopping ability tremendously but not “feel”. 
Yamaha replaced my whole rear brake assy under warranty. They put  on oem pads. 
I mounted The Fix with oem pads. I found that The Fix with oem pads stopping  ability was  (not scientific) about equal to Oem brake with Galfers. So when I then installed the Galfers I felt that they did increase my stopping ability but since the stopping ability was SO increased by the The Fix, the difference (or increase ) was not as remarkable. Still better stopping power than stock but not the WoW I experienced with the Galfers the first time. And obviously the braking feel, which is awesome.

Installed the Camel ADV pegs and "the fix" brake pedal.
The size isn't real different and that's fine. Bigger pegs can be in the way when you need to put your foot down but we can have a long muddy season here in the Netherlands and a bit more grip is welcome.

Where did your fix brake pedal end up in relation to your foot peg?

 

My pedal ended up 4-5 mm lower than the foot peg.   I went on a 20 mile ride yesterday.  Tried standing and sitting to get the sweet spot.  I don’t think there is a right and wrong position.  It is subjective.  I also installed a 6mm spacer behind the brake pedal pad to space it out.  This helped with the larger IMS pegs.

Can''t tell yet. Tomorrow after work i take the offroad way home in the dark and then i know wat i want.

I wonder if there is a simple mod to secure the C-stand up when not in use.  A flip-clamp on the LHS say.

@Redneckj  I'm running my "Fix" pedal, the same as my oem adjustment.  Basically level with my Camel-ADV foot pegs measured, the same way you show in your picture,  from the foot peg base, not the top of the cleats. Working great thus far.
