like others I was concerned about the indicator being cooked by the exhaust.  With the camel tidy tail and these indicators, I can say that there is no problem at all with the light being damaged. It does not even get warm.

Installed huzar with bracket supplied ,no extension needed.   40cm muffler with short mid pipe.

Indicator extends 2 5/8 inches from camel plate.

These indicators are Halogen not LED. Still much brighter than stock.

Just installed the Huzar exhaust. Short pipe with short can. Camel tail tidy with small led blinkers from off the road.

I used both baffles. The flat circular one was hard to fit. Now I need a heat shield for my boot - seen some good options in this thread.

This exhaust looks a lot better in person than pictures.

 Exhaust setup looks great.  Heres one thought thouh, It’s good practice to rotate the exhaust clamp on the header connection 180° so it’s on top. Less likely to catch on foreign objects.

I went with what others before me had used. exhaust heat shield insulation, it's an easy fix .

Will the Huzar mid pipe work with other mufflers?  Can you order just the mid pipes?

You may be able to use a different muffler.  Somewhere on here or ADVrider someone did that.  I don't think Huzar will send just the mid pipe.  Personally, for that trouble, I'd just have a pipe made locally and have a can picked out that will fit where you want it.  Shop can then make the midpipe for you.

Thats odd on the melting - I did not think my cyclops signals were getting warm at all, was not super concerned. That being said, it would be worthwhile to ask Camel ADV to sell their heat shields - They are perfect, you could see if someone was looking to sell theirs.

@MikeCMP,  if I wasn't

already planning to switch to

the smaller ones I would totally hit Corey up for one! That melting was only after about a 15 minute ride around some back roads (Not going full tilt the whole time). I’m sure the Cyclops are a bit better quality than these too...

Yeah i rode around the yard and stuff for like 20 minutes, the signals were not even warm. I did lower the pipe a touch.

The worst part was the condensation from the exhaust, was just going to keep the signal wet all the time, plus when it warms up around here maybe there is more worry about melting - after all it was only 30 F this after noon 🙂

@MikeCMP, yeah this is

using the provided hanger from Huzar. If it was dropped down a bit I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue!

Got the new turns installed and definitely will not have issues with them getting melted. Took a couple of videos to show brightness and comparing them against the Amazon sequentials that were on prior....

Comparison video mid install...

Install complete. Plenty of clearance so melting will no longer be an issue...

Thank you! Could that Kriega setup be ran without the racks?

Yes,

I ran it on the OS base made for the Tenere 700.  I didn't like that base as it lacked enough adjustment when using the Tall Rally Seat.  It would be fine with the  standard seat I think.  If you run the Universal OS Base that should work with the tall seat as it has more adjustment room built in.

The Kriegas won't work without the base or something else to attach to.

Heres a couple pics of them with OS Tenere specific base. Notice the blue webbing I used to make the connection to the foot pegs. That lower strap on the base is a fixed length. On the universal, it has adjustments built in.

And here is with the AS racks

Edit. I can't for the life of me get this picture to show up with the correct orientation.pic.jpeg.5d3221101d09541da55aba6987c366f5.jpeg

Mine leaked at the collector.  I had to crank the clamp until it stopped.

Same. Tried moving the clamp a couple of time and I ended up breaking the clamp.  New clamp will be here tomorrow.
I should have known better. From past experience a little high temp rtv on any exhaust joints will save lots of time and frustration.

I'm in the middle of putting something together.  Wolfman hoops that will be further forward and lower down than most of what's available.

the only racks I found that were set up like this are the Rideadv racks.  there great but in the $800 range  shipped to canada. There is room to move these in tighter to the bike, which I will do.  Using the wolfman

expedition saddle bags (bomb proof). With the Huzar everything will be tucked in nice and tight .
